The Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop with certified instructor, Scott Riley is back by popular demand! Come and see us on Saturday 24th August here at RAW Performance Omagh!

Tickets available here.

Become Healthy, Happy & Strong with these benefits and more:

  • Reduce stress levels

  • Increase energy

  • Improve mood

  • Sharpen focus

  • Boost metabolism

  • Enhance sleep

  • Decrease inflammation

This workshop focuses on the fundamental 3 Pillars of the Wim Hof Method:

Mindset:

Discover what it takes to find calm in a stressful environment like extreme cold, and how to apply that to your daily life. Take a guided meditation to build focus.

Breath-work:

Work on your breathing mechanics and find an optimal pattern for both active practice of the WHM and passive breathing practice in the rest of your day.

The Cold:

Put all you learn to the test by getting into the ice bath. Use the breath to regain composure in the cold & access hightened focus to warm up, post-dip.

Schedule:
10.00 – 12.30: Introduction & Breath-work
12.30 – 13.00: Time for snacks / light packed lunch
13.00 – 14.00: Focus & Cold Immersion

What to expect:

Expect to be challenged and have fun. Learn through experience by doing. Mini lectures of no more than 20mins explaining the science of what’s happening on a biological level will be broken up by breath-work & movement.

Contraindications:

If you have any major heart/health conditions please consult a physician before practicing the method. If you are pregnant or have epilepsy you cannot attend the workshop.

Preparation:

Take cold showers, increasing exposure time gradually. Start with a warm shower then turn it fully cold for 15 seconds to begin. Over the coming days, increase to 30, then 60 seconds. You do not need to submerge your head.

What if I’m doing or have completed the 10-week online WHM course?

This is an ideal opportunity to get personal coaching on the techniques to ensure you’re getting the most from your at-home practice. Practicing as a group is also hugely beneficial for reasons I’ll get into at the workshop.

Dietary Advice:
Have a light breakfast or if you’re used to intermittent fasting, arrive on an empty stomach. Bring a light packed lunch or snack for the 30min break. Eat well after the workshop as you’ll have burnt a high amount of calories.

What to wear
Gym / yoga attire is ideal for moving around. Bring swimwear, a towel and flip flops for the ice bath. Warm clothes are recommended for afterwards. Please refrain from wearing any perfumes/colognes or scented skin care products.

Hopefully we’ll see you all there!
